Cole Leonida, CPT

American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Professional Baseball Catcher

Cole is a homegrown athlete, playing his high school baseball at Grandview High School. While at Grandview, he earned All-Conference, All-State, and All-American honors. Following his illustrious prep career, he chose to accept a scholarship offer to play baseball at Georgia Tech. While there, he helped the Jackets to three straight NCAA Regional berths. In June of 2010, the Washington Nationals selected Cole with the 1st pick of the 6th round in the MLB Amateur Draft. He is currently considered one of the top catching prospects in the organization, despite undergoing Arthroscopic Hip Labrum repair in October of 2010 (completing his rehabilitation with Ben Freeman).

As an elite athlete, he has trained under three of the top minds in performance training (Ben Freeman, Loren Landow, and Steve Tambora). In addition, he is nationally recognized an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. Through over a decade of training, tutelage, research, success, and failure, Cole has gathered the experience, knowledge, and insight to help you take a huge step towards reaching your potential.

Cole is currently playing baseball with the Washington Nationals Minor League Affiliate, Hagerstown Suns. Follow Cole through his season as he continues to dominate behind the plate. We wish him all the best on a great 2012 season. We will expect him back at the conclusion of his season.
